Larimer street-painting festival

Last weekend was the annual Larimer Street, street-painting festival. It was cool to see the tarmac being transformed into a painting, even for just a couple days.

Slacklining

I bumped into a group doing some pretty neat tricks on slacklines in City Park this afternoon and I was glad to have a camera with me.

Framing the Flatirons in Boulder, strolling around the remains of last night and watching the Boulder-esque curiosities. 

Home studio

I have been building a very basic home studio. Equipment: 

Canon Speedlite 430EX flash

Paramount hotshoe to miniphone cord (Speedlite on hotshoe)

Elinchom Skyport Universal Trigger Set (transmitter on camera hotshoe and receiver plugged to Paramount cord).

Stand with white translucent umbrella.

Shadows

Oh my, what have I done??

It's often the case that after snapping away on my camera around Denver, I will get a close look at the images weeks after and get this "hey, what is this?" type of feeling. Typical case, the image below. It's not a ghost walking the streets of Denver, it's just Fanni with a commuter rail on the background.
