On the way to Down Under

On the way to another month in Australia, got stuck at LAX.

The problem:

I have never been subject to so much BS by any airline in any trip before.

Anyhow, spent a day around LAX.

Fanni tearing her hair.

We'll be on the way again tonight and hopefully Down Under tomorrow.

Benares

Also known as Varanasi. The colorful and somewhat overwhelming ancient city by the Ganges.

People go there to wash their clothes and textiles, bathe, go on a boat ride, give offerings or just socialize.

It was very busy but also very colorful in New Year's day.

Early in the morning in thick fog. I actually preferred the light and scenery to the usual sunny depictions of the Taj in the background.
