I have been fascinated with music since I was a kid but only now did I start learning how to play and it has been taking up a lot of my free time. Hence taking photographs has been a little slow lately.

Here is an image taken at the Denver Art Museum a little while ago. The unconventional architecture of the new wing is a great opportunity to play with lines - there are hardly two that are parallel in the whole building.
There is a very colorful piano on the sidewalk, on the corner of Larimer and 15th. I just saw it this morning. I have no idea what it is doing there, other than be the unusual encounter that attracts your eye, or even makes you stop and play some tunes.
Of course no trip to Australia is complete without an encounter with a kangaroo and a koala. For lack of time, my own encounter was in an enclosed environment at the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane. See all of those and more here.
